Maundy Thursday Reflection

On Maundy Thursday, Christ gives everything—His Body, Blood, Priesthood, and the commandment of love. In the Upper Room, He kneels to wash feet, even Judas’s, and institutes the Eucharist knowing He will be betrayed. The Mass does not end; the Passion has begun. The Blessed Sacrament is reposed, the altar is stripped, and the Church begins her vigil. This is the night of the Gift. Let us not sleep. Let us kneel with Him—before He is taken from us.
