Today’s homily: Feria II in the Ascension Octave (2025)

Christ’s Ascension marks the beginning of His eternal priesthood in Heaven, where He offers His glorified wounds before the Father and intercedes for us. The martyrs Marcellinus, Peter, and Erasmus share in this priesthood through their sacrificial deaths, bearing witness to the Victim they loved. Every Mass unites earth to Heaven, and every faithful soul is called to join Christ’s oblation through prayer, penance, and fidelity—living liturgically until we reign with Him in glory.
