Today’s homily: Feria III in the Ascension Octave (2025)

The Ascension is not Christ’s departure but His entry into the heavenly sanctuary, where He eternally offers Himself before the Father. From His throne, He intercedes for His Church and pours out grace upon us. The liturgy on earth participates in this divine action, making present His one eternal sacrifice. In these days of silence and expectation, we are called to deeper union with His priestly offering through reverent worship, hidden sacrifice, and hopeful longing for the Spirit.
