Today’s homily: Passion Monday (2025)

In Passiontide's solemn shadows, the Church leads us to San Crisogono, where St. Chrysogonus—martyred and cast into the sea—echoes Jonas, emerging to preach repentance by his death. Like Nineve, we are called to fast in body and soul, lest Christ's words—“You shall seek Me and shall not find Me”—fall upon us. Yet to the penitent, Christ offers living water. Let us repent while mercy flows, and become vessels of grace in a thirsty world.
