Today’s homily: Pentecost Monday (2025)

On Pentecost Monday, the Church invites us to reflect on the Gift of Wisdom, by which the soul sees all things in the light of God. St. Peter’s recognition of the Spirit in the Gentiles and Christ’s teaching that “he who does truth comes to the light” reveal that wisdom is both a divine instinct and a moral clarity. It enables the faithful to perceive God's will, love His truth, and delight in the sweetness of His Word, like honey from the rock and finest wheat for the soul.
