Today’s Homily: Saturday Lent III (2025)

This homily reflects on the parallel stories of Susanna and the adulterous woman to reveal God's justice and mercy. Susanna, falsely accused, remains steadfast in purity and is vindicated by divine intervention through Daniel, a type of Christ. The adulteress, caught in real sin, receives mercy from Christ, who calls her to repentance. Together, these women represent the Church: assaulted, yet sustained by grace. Lent invites us to purity, true judgment, repentance, and hope in God’s saving power.
