Today’s homily: SS. Nereus, Achilleus, Domitilla & Pancras, Martyrs (2025)

The Church honours Nereus, Achilleus, Domitilla, and Pancras—martyrs who chose Christ over Roman honour, comfort, or life itself. Today’s readings reveal how the world mocked their sacrifice, yet heaven glorified them. Like the royal official in the Gospel, they believed the Word of Christ and stood firm. Their witness calls us to fidelity in a world hostile to truth, reminding us that God's eyes are upon those who fear Him and hope in His mercy.
