Today’s homily: St. Jean-Baptiste de La Salle (2025)

St Jean-Baptiste de La Salle gave up wealth to educate and sanctify poor children, founding the first lay teaching order. His example speaks urgently today as millions of children face poverty, abuse, and ideological confusion, both in the UK and worldwide. True Catholic education must form souls in truth and holiness. If we fail to protect and teach our children, the world will deform them. Christ calls us to receive them in His name — for in doing so, we receive Him.
