Today’s homily: Sunday in the Ascension Octave (2025)

The Sunday within the Ascension Octave calls us to prayerful waiting. Christ has ascended but promised the Paraclete—the Holy Ghost—who will teach, sanctify, and strengthen us to bear witness. Like the Apostles in the Upper Room, we must prepare our hearts. The Spirit makes us bold in truth, faithful in trial, and alive in grace. Let us watch, pray, and desire His coming with renewed fervour.
