Today’s homily: Sunday IV Post Pascha (2025)

On the Fourth Sunday after Easter, the Church looks toward Pentecost, as Christ promises the Spirit and prepares His disciples to live by faith, not sight. St James exhorts us to receive the Word with meekness, and in St Venantius, young martyr, we see its fruit: courage, fidelity, and supernatural grace. Though the world tempts and mocks, the Holy Spirit strengthens us to stand firm. Let us ask for this same Spirit to renew us in truth and holiness.
