Today’s homily: The Ascension of Our Lord Jesus Christ (2025)

On this fortieth day, Christ ascends in His glorified humanity to the right hand of the Father, not to abandon us but to reign and intercede. The Apostles are commissioned to preach to all nations, with signs confirming their mission. The Ascension is our hope: where the Head has gone, the Body shall follow. We are now called to lift our hearts to heaven, live as His witnesses on earth, and prepare in prayer for the coming of the Holy Ghost at Pentecost.
